July 14, 2009, Shanghai – Lamborghini, Italy’s top sports car manufacturer, held a test drive titled “Lamborghini Circuit Day” today at Shanghai International Circuit, attracting XXX clients and journalists from the eastern part of China to experience the extremely fast and sensational feeling of driving Gallardo LP 560-4 Coupe and Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder, two super sports cars, on F1 circuit.
It’s the second leg of the “Lamborghini Circuit Day” serial activity following the first test drive at Beijing Golddenport International Circuit on July 7. The third leg will kick off at Zhuhai International Circuit on August 1.
“China is a country boasting splendid history and having huge market potentials. It makes us keep increasing the investment in China market, providing the world’s top sports cars and most valued services for Chinese consumers. On the professional track of Shanghai International Circuit, three Gallardo LP560-4 sports cars thrilled everyone on the scene by lightning speed and heart-shocking roaring of engines. Among the three cars, two belong to the model of Coupe sports car and one to Spyder sports car. The two sports car models are both equipped with the new 5.2-liter V10 engine, which can develop 412 kilowatts or 560 horsepower at 8,000 rpm at its maximum and 540 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Such a powerful heart gives Gallardo LP 560-4 Coupe, with a weight of 1,410 kilograms and the maximum speed of 325 kilometers per hour, the force to take only 3.7 seconds to reach 100 kilometers per hour from zero, and 11.8 seconds to reach 200 kilometers per hour from zero. Compared with Coupe, Spyder seems less performed, but its 4 seconds of acceleration from 0-100 kilometer per hour and 13.1 seconds from 0-200 kilometer per hour as well as its 324 kilometers per hour maximum speed are enough to make it top the car industry.
